"In death we find eternal life"

Again today I will say things that offend peoples faiths including my families, so just don't take the things I say seriously, just listen to it and think about it.

The reason I title this weeks blog with that particular quote is because death has to do with alot of the the similarities with Jesus and Vampires. When Jesus was killed the store goes on that he was buried and three days later he rose from the dead. Having eternal life.
In the Vampire legend, when a human is bitten by a vampire the human will eventually die and be buried, once again they will rise from the dead having eternal life.

Then I think back to how we even got to the point of death itself. Well according to what I was taught and have learn is that Jesus was nailed to a cross in the bright sun, he was beaten and stabbed with the "spear of destiny". As he bleed is family member washed his feet with holy water.
What do these things have to do with vampires? To start off, the cross is a religious symbol that burns the skin of any vampire that touches it. Jesus was killed on a cross in the blistering heat of the sun. Along with that, sunlight burns vampires also. "The spear of destiny" was thrusted into Jesuses chest eventually leading to Jesuses death. A spear is very similar to a stake in which vampires can be kill with when they are stabbed in the chest. Finally the water that was used to clean Jesus was holy and even though it had no part in killing Jesus, it has a part in burning vampires when they come in contact with it.

  1. interesting topic, but I don't see it lending well to really developing this blog (i.e. using more types of media, widgets, etc.)

might want to expand a bit...

    keep posting.
